My main concern is not the spots but the general condition of the plant along the last two years. It used to grow multiple new growths and three spikes and now its condition seems to be getting worse.

Maybe can check the state of the media ------ media and the roots - just to make sure all is ok underneath - in the dark depths.

Moist media, with nice aeration is nice. Just check to see if too soggy or bog-like.

I'm a bit impatient but I wanted to get a shot with my dendrobium in flower as they are about to fade.
This is where better camera's shine. Mine not so much. One day santa will bring me one too.

Excellent pic shade. That camera is appearing to shine right there! Very nice Dendrobium in among the Oncidiums!

Give it a good shake and allow some time for granules to dissolve a bit. And - once it's all good ------ spray the leaves with the sprayer nozzle. Then allow to air-dry.

My oncidium twinkle has similar features on some of the leaves ------ just like that ------ but nothing bad ever happens or develops from it. I can take pics later.
Just for the record SouthPark, amateurs like us can't get our hands on Imidacloprid or the other neonicotinoids in the European Union, although some farmers are still getting around the legislation:

As a side note, Imidacloprid is not effective against mites.

thx WW, I think so too.

It was sold to me as oncidium Twinkle 'Bronze Fantasy'
but that isn't really a name you can find much about.

The other one is golden Fantasy

and rbatarata's is a red fantasy, the white one is a fragrance fantasy

I have two or three Oncidium tribe that aren't thriving like they used to. My growing space has changed so much over the past year and a half, that it's hard to sift through and figure out why. You know, what's changed?

Do you have it in smaller bark than it used to be in? Your humidity seems to be in an adequate range, and I don't see any leaf accordion. Sure could be some spider mite or false spider mite damage. Won't hurt at all to treat it. I'll be interested to see what the root system looks like once you repot. Presume you're waiting until it finishes to take a look?

I went through a Twinkle phase years back in 2008, and had a bunch. I moved on to other plants, because I have a self-controlling rule about how many is too many. But I could definitely make an exception for that one. Just love the bold color of it, and haven't seen one with that coloration.
