Dark patches on Lycaste schilleriana - Orchid Board

Hi all, I just got a Lycaste but noticed that it has dark patches (see attached image). What do you think this might be, and how should I deal with it? I'm a beginner, so any advice is appreciated!

Looks like sunburn. What is your lighting situation?

Low light at the moment - but the orchid might have been exposed to direct sunlight when it was being transported to my home. I'll ask the shop if this might have been the case. Is there anything I should do to try to help the orchid heal?

The orchid will be fine. Lycastes are very tough, just give it good culture and it won't miss a beat. Lycaste schilleriana is semi-deciduous so you wont have to look at the burnt leaves forever.
