Phaius orchid pseudobulbs are blackening

My phaius orchid has recently begun to blacken at both the new growths and the pseudobulbs does anyone know the cause? I've only watered it when the substrate went mostly dry keeping it mildly moist.

I also checked the roots and there's no root rot that I could tell

Try keeping it wet if it makes it.

Treat everything but the roots with Isopropyl alcohol twice a day and I would recommend using a systemic fungicide. You want to stop this from spreading into the last pseudobulb.

The Calcium only works with new growth. Milk is said to act as a fungicide but it tends to go sour and that is not good indoors.
