I finally got my Paphiopedilum maudiae to bloom and now i am afraid that what I thought was sun damage is actually an orchid issue.

I tried looking at the photos from different sites for virus, bacteria, fungus and sun damage and can't match it.

What does this look like to you?

Welcome to the Orchid Board!

I don't know what that is. I would cut the leaf off near the base with a single snip, and watch the plant.

I’d cut it off as well. My guess would be some type of bacterial infection. I’d apply some cinnamon to the cut to seal it up after removing the leaf.
