I just got a mature renanthera. While quarantining I noticed in the folds of the leaves where it meets the stems several small insects. They almost look like pillbugs but a lot smaller and more transparent. Could anyone confirm what these are and if they are harmless?
Looks like baby pill bugs to me. Pill bugs don't normally eat live plant matter, but do eat decomposing wood, plant material, etc. I'd be checking whatever medium it's potted in, and repotting if needed.
Get some Sluggo Plus and sprinkle it into your pots. They had invaded my collection and were chewing tiny little roots. All gone, except I saw one the other day on a mounted plant, so I will have to give it a little shake, shake, shake!
