Is this Erwinia? Or something else?

Hey everyone,
Just got a new, healthy phalaenopsis tetraspis C1, repotted it in fresh spag/light bark mix and watched it for a week before adding it to the indoor collection. On the second week, I noticed a small brown spot towards the tip of one of the leaves. It looked sunk in and like the leaf was trying to turn clear before turning brown. I sprayed with physan 20, but that didn't seem to phase it. The next day it was clearly bigger, and the day after that it appeared on two other leaves. I have cut off the affected parts, sprayed with physan 20 (waiting on a systemic medicine to arrive via mail), and it remains in quarantine. Is this erwinia? Or something else? Are there any other steps I should take to possibly save my plant? Here's a photo of one of the smaller affected leaves:

It's really hard to diagnose things from photos, but erwinia is a reasonable guess, especially if those brown patches are "liquidy" under the "skin".

They seemed to be. Thanks for the insight, I've never personally dealt with this, only read about it. Still hoping to get my systemic stuff today or tomorrow. I guess what I'd like to know is whether my orchid can be saved? Or is it a goner at this point?

Erwinia is a pretty fast worker, but if you can hit it with a decent systemic bactericide soon, you stand a reasonable chance of stopping it.
