Stem rot is quite different from rotting roots, and I don't think that the methods work the same in both places. If the poster has already removed the rotten roots, then there is no point in damaging the healthy roots that remain with hydrogen peroxide. Potting up the orchid in new healthy bark and finding a better watering schedule sounds like they will solve the poster's problems.
