Due to conflicting advice from Google, I'm asking you all the question. Can you dilute neem oil, let it set and still have it be effective?I understand you would have to shake it well, and it does turn color, but still smells the same. Does it still work?
I can't think why it wouldn't work... it doesn't break down... it's still an oil, and the smell indicates that it's going to have the same repulsive affect on fauna as it would fresh out of the bottle. Since its relationship with the water is purely physical - surfactant just helps it to emulsify long enough to spray. I have trouble thinking of any reason that it wouldn't be fine after a good shaking.
Well I hope so. Because I just discovered I have thrips again. And I need something that I can spray intermittently when I'm not using 3 in 1. I just used a bunch of it that I had mixed up a while back.
