Dry spots and white flakes?

Hi, i have a reasonably new moth orchid that has finished blooming and repotted it yesterday. I noticed some small brown spots on the underside of the leaves that are hard and cant be removed without damaging the orchid leaf tissue. theres also scarring on the underside of a bottom leaf and a white flakey line on the new leaf bud. im unsure if ive got multiple problems or they are all connected. whilst repotting the roots looked really healthy so i dont think it could be connected to them.

Any advice would be must appreciated!

Hard to say what it is ..... but if it remains hard, and no changes ------ then that should be ok.

Look with a magnifying glass, and search for images of scale insects on orchids. You might have that.

Thanks for the help. I will have a closer look and keep an eye on it. The link to edema looks very likely so I'll try adapting my watering schedule to see if that stops it getting worse
