Keep pets away, wear safety gear and shower quickly after.

It lasts until the plant gets wet (contact pesticide) and then you need to spray again (so water from the bottom and spray again after it rains). Good luck!
Thanks massively kindly LM! This is going to be great, as most of my orchids are under a balcony, generally no water gets onto their leaves. Thanks for the recommendations as well with the safety - and regarding pets etc. Greatly appreciated!

Very true DC! She is too busy to get sick!!! I had overlooked that! She does sometimes rub her face against some orchids --- never bites or chews the orchids fortunately. But rubbing the face won't be a good thing.

Only 1 time had knocked a pot over by using too much force, so the scoria had fallen out everywhere. Surprisingly, that was the only time she knocked any orchid pot over.

Good call and thanks DC! ----- I have to keep an eye on the boss!!
