Odd balls? on orchids
Default Odd balls? on orchids

Odd balls on my orchids and sounding walls.
They don't move or seem to have any legs.
Can someone identify these?
Thanks.
One image through a microscope, and the other next to a toothpick.

It reminds me of oxalis seed. They disperse rather forcefully.

just noticed some white ones. not sure if they're related to the black ones or not.

had to bring out macro photography equipment i haven't used in years. click on the image to get the full one.

while looking closer at other orchids, i noticed some mites on my vanda roots. some seem to have wings (so maybe not mites, or maybe two different bugs).

these are much smaller, and also i run out of battery, i can take better photos tomorrow, but maybe these are common and the bad photos are enough to identify them.

Oran ---- not sure what those balls are. But I notice some whitish colour on some of the leaves. Maybe all ok - but just mentioning - just in case.

Pic 5 seems to show a 'trail' starting at the right and going up and above the brown ball.

Not sure about the balls. The second to last picture is a winged aphid, but it looks dead.
