I found a recipe on the AOS site the other day for general use against a "mild" case of mites:
- 1 pint 409 household cleaner
- 1 pint rubbing alcohol
- enough water combined with above to make 1 gallon
I've been using insecticidal soap sprays, MiteX (garlic and some other oils) and making my own soap spray just to try to keep the population down.
This recipe seems to call for a lot of 409 and rubbing alcohol, compared to a standard dish soap and water recipe. Has anyone used this? I'm moving away from anything with oil unless it is super cloudy, because it ends up burning leaves.
