So somehow my Calanthe sylvatica survived a terrible case of black rot, and I left it in a corner of the garage to die, but it somehow survived, but it's still in pretty bad condition. It has
-brown areas
-folded leaves
-white/lighter areas in areas where the leaf is folded.
(The last 2 maybe because of lack of light?)
Will it recover by itself?
I've put it in the area it was before (with more light).
Maybe spray with a systematic fungicide for orchids. Or a rotation of various fungicides. Try a phosphorous acid product.
Could also check to see if there's any mites attacking the plant. Apply some natra soap (spraying) all over the plant - all parts of the leaves - top and bottom.
