Default got this electric sprayer for my wife she loves it.

she has been using the smaller hand held bottles but they keep wearing out or she drops it and breaks the tip off. this was the first electric sprayer that had a decent rechargeable battery and it is supposed to spray 30 gallons between charges. She wishes the wand was not so long she is blind and has to feel where the spray goes.

What is the wand made of? It appears to be metal tubing of some sort. If it's a standard diameter, you should be able to get a compression union for it, it which case you could cut it to any length she likes. From the pic I'd guess it's 1/4" tubing, but you would need to verify that. A tubing cutter and the compression union would probably cost under $20, and the job would take about 5 minutes to complete.
