Default Plant/Nursery Management Software

Is anybody using or has knowledge of a Plant or Nursery management software?

I want to keep track of my plants' inventory, what I've done to them, and related information.

Thanks for any clues on this,

Rodrigo

The only one I've heard of is orchidwiz. And it's pretty expensive. I just use a spreadsheet on open office. But my collection isn't huge

You can use the OCD here on on now. It's great. Missing a few things, but still great

If you are a Mac user, I recently switched to Bento 3, a cheap, simple database software from Filemaker. You can easily build your own database (not too many calculator functions) but the big thing for me is that there are apps for the iPhone and the iPad. I can use my iPhone or iPad in the growing area, walking around, and then everything can sync together. I like being able to update blooming starts/stops, flower sizes/numbers, and comments about plants right by the plant instead of making notes to enter later. The mobile connection to the database is the neat thing. The interfaces are nice and Bento looks very nice on the desktop or mobile. You can import pictures of plants/flowers directly from iPhoto with a drag/drop.

I'm currently using DataCrow
Data Crow - Cataloger

It is a very flexible DB Management system.

So far it keeps records of almost anything I need.... and it is free.

Cons: Reports are hard to configure.
