Making additional holes in plastic pots

That looks like a good sort of drill, not tried that.

My husband uses one of his standard drills when I need new holes in pots. We tend to find that you have to use a small drill, followed by a slightly larger one followed by the size you want, otherwise there is a tendency to crack the pots.

Yes they crack the pots and the tapered drill bit does not, it cuts a nice clean hole
