misting system sticking on?

My mistking has stuck on twice flooding my exo terra setup. I have the digital timer from mistking and it is programed to come on everyday for seven seconds five times a day. Anyone have this happen?

First, check your battery!
From the mistking´s homepage
"When that battery is drained, there isn't enough current to trip the relay - your misting system can stay on 'forever' until you manually turn it off."
I never trust batteries that come´s with equipment.....

Second look through the programming. I do not have mistking´s timer but similar. I found that mine had several program 1,2,3,4.... and I had by mistake forgot to set an endpoint to one (or accidental set an on time). This resulted in what you describe....

Which timer do you have? I have the MistKing system and use the Encore interval timer Encore Repeat Cycle Timer 15 Amp - Garden.com which used to be available through MistKing. Not sure why Marty quit carrying these. Mine works flawlessly.

I just got a system. The new timer is said to virtually eliminate the low battery problem since it uses a rechargeable battery. I have yet to install mine but if low battery power allows the timer relay to stay open then it's a flawed design. Well, now I'm worried. My 125 vertical terrarium already has a cracked bottom and leaks. I have to fix that before installing the misting system. Do you have the $29 misting timer or the more expensive Encore timer that Ross has?

I got it working right, it was a programing error. works great now. The $28 digital timer from mistking is the one I have.
