The software here is old, and I think most phone cameras have stopped recording orientation information. Open the photo on a desktop. Rotate 90° in any direction and save it. Rotate it to the correct orientation, and save again. It should upload properly.

I see a small business opportunity for your family. Orchid people are crazy enough to keep spending through a depression.

Thanks for the compliments guys - and for the picture posting tutorial. Hopefully I'll be getting some more plants once the system is in and have pics to share

Also, somebody can help me test (not as guinea pigs hahaha!) a MS Windows program that can help scan through a bunch of "jpg" pics and outputs new jpg files without harming or modifying the original pic files.

Test is just making sure it does work on machines other than my Windows 8 system heheh. I'm pretty sure it should work fine. But it isn't going to work on photos that have already been uploaded to OrchidBoard - because I think OrchidBoard's own software removes/strips EXIF information and orientation information etc from uploaded photos.

There's a link here: Click Here if anybody wants to try it out any time. It is SAFE to use.

Ended up going with the MistKing Starter and adding two nozzles. It looks like I'll probably end up needing two double nozzles and two singles, but will stick with what I have until I get more plants in over the next few weeks.

Also, I did lose power for about an hour and a half yesterday after getting the timer all set up that morning. And yes, WaterWitchin, when the power came back on, the timer showed the correct time and still had my cycles in there. Didn't think to check if it would turn on when the power was out - maybe next time.
