Fine-mist pressure mister?
Default Fine-mist pressure mister?

I ordered a Vivosun pressure sprayer and am EXTREMELY disappointed with it. The mist it makes has large droplets (for a mister, I mean.)

I am looking for a high quality handheld pressure mister that makes a very fine mist.

The vivosun will be dedicated to chemical spraying. A $3 sprayer from Walmart makes finer mist.

I have a two gallon pump sprayer, might be that brand, and it has an adjustable nozzle. I can really crank it down to where it is pure mist with no droplets but it can only spray like that with very high pressure. As soon as it drops they turn into droplets. That’s the rules with surface tension lol

Does your have adjustable feature? If so, completely remove it and see if there is any debris and of not, try pumping a bit more and see if the most gets finer.

May I ask the purpose of the misting?

If it's to mist plants for humidity, don't waste your time or effort.

Post mentions spraying chemicals, so I'd assume it's for pesticides.

It is not for humidity at all. I use a humidifier and an inkbird humidity controller. I am primarily growing nepenthes, but I've got like a dozen pleurothalids on their
way to me in the mail. Cant wait!

Foliar feeding, cleaning mylar, but primarily rehydrating the top layer of live sphagnum on my nepenthes daily, so I can let the net pots dry out more.

It has an adjustable nozzle, it's unobstructed and has been this way out of the box. I have pumped and pumped and pumped and at full pressure jt doesnt make a difference. Seal gasket is fine.

The sprayer works perfectly. It just sucks and I want a better one.

I got a hand mister from Sally beauty supply, and the mist is extremely fine and perfect! I just want that fine mist in a pressurized hand sprayer. Fine mist in my experience is less likely to collect in leaf axils. This mist from the vivosun is large mist. If Sally beauty can do it, some horticultural company somewhere must have one that can do it.

I hope j am articulating what I mean well haha. I really need a hand sprayer and not a two gallon sized sprayer lol

Orchids are not particularly efficient foliar feeders...

Ok guys, the thread really isn't about why I wanted a better one or what I wanted a better one for, it was about reccomendations for a new handheld one with a finer mist.

It doesnt really matter why I want one with a finer mist, I would just like one with a finer mist.
