Yup. Sometimes trying to rig stuff up to one's satisfaction just isn't worth the frustration in the long haul. Depending on your setup, you could also put an inline ball valve on one end of the T, so you could only have that one "watering mister" turn on and leave the rest to just be automatic.
I just bought the 4.0 starter kit, and and six extra valves, a couple of 90 elbows and a couple of T's. If you aren't using RO, rainwater, etc, you may want to invest in a sediment filter. I also bought an extra coil of tubing. I didn't put $200 into it, and have been using same for years. I use a 40 gallon clear storage tub for my reservoir and if I'm not cheating and dipping from it, it lasts a loooong time.
