Baskets arrived today, shade cloth scheduled for Friday. The orchids I'm putting outside fall into the same department, but could be titled 2 different things......sun/light lovers or orchids I have not bloomed yet
My 1 vanda, 1 dendrobium, and my small cattleya collection. My total orchid collection is a little over 20 right now. Ive been able to rebloom my phals and each of the oncidium types (excluding 1 of my brassias). The rest have showed nice growth, good color, healthy roots, just no blooms or even spikes. I'm going to be donating everything I've bloomed, and focus on those that I have not. If I rebloom them, I will gradually expand my collection again, consisting of only cattleyas. My kids really enjoyed the Ann Arbor orchid show this spring and have already picked out a cattleya for themselves from Sunset Valley Orchids. Slight tangent, but that's the current stays around here!
