That would not surprise me.
Somewhere I've read that Hawai'i has a climate very favorable for Spatulata section/antelope type Dendrobiums.
Knowing that has spurred me on to get this one established on my trees.
Plus, I'd always wanted a Spatulata type Dendrobium while living in Alaska, but didn't think I could give it the conditions needed for it to do well.
Now, I can just throw them outside and forget 'em.
That's a win-win situation.
