Default My Culture, living in SE Asia

Hi,

A few have asked about my growing conditions. Here they are with photo's.

I have about 80 plants and counting that are grown on the open balcony of my 7th floor apartment facing due East. The plants are all hanging from two mock trees and receive direct and filtered direct sun for about 6 hours per day. I water twice a day and feed a balanced fertilizer which hangs slight above the each plant in small hand stitched packets
(about the size of a quarter). This method provides minute amounts each watering.

I have successfully re-flowered a variety of orchids, including, Vanda, Ascocenda, Dendrobium, Catalaya, Brassavola etc. etc.

Any questions please ask. Sorry, I have no idea why the pics show horizontally.

Will

I love your mock trees-very smart use of your 7th floor patio space. Great growing!

I like the set-up you have on your balcony, Will. And I imagine that the vandaceous orchids in your collection adore the heat and humidity of southern Vietnam.

Thanks! And I agree they do love the warm and humid environment. Additional, where I am there are usually light breezes, which of course orchids love as well.
