I am working on design for a shade table, with approx dimensions 2'x12'. I have an electronic timer, that will allow scheduled watering.
My question concerns finding a sprinkler that will provide adequate water distribution. Suggestions anyone?
If need be, I can manifold the outlet and connect to two sprinklers, but they still need to cover 2'x6' (60x180 cm) each.
I will consider building an overhead misting system, but I can't seem to find anything suitable.

In your last line of your post above the word 'misting' has been underlined automatically. Click on that.
Mistking which that takes you to is one option. Systems can range from simple ones with just one nozzle, to much more complex ones. Some people use them in terrariums, some people in greenhouses.
I've not tried them but I know other members, or past members here who have.
The company is run by Marty who is the owner of the orchid board forum (hence the automatic highlight of the word 'misting').
That's one option anyway.

The whole point is that fine mist depends on how small the sprinkler head is. There are really fine mist heads at Lowes for 2 dollars or so each but you need to go with their size tubes and so on. Then you need a decent hose timer.
