Bigflower hybrid Cymbidium outside. Experiment.

Hi fellows, I've done an experiment in last 3 years. I've got three plants (suppose 3 divisions of same mother plant) of Cymbidium. I lleft them ouside on my balcony north-east facing for 3 years, from -15°C (5°F) under rain and snow to +39°C (103°F) in full sun. Never fertilized, always the same media (bark and (I think) some charcoal.
This year, flowers!! They earned a good repot
Considering the fact I almost forget to have these plants, as you can see from theri totally natural look, stems are short, the flowers are only 4/7 per stem, but the size of flowers is pretty good! Lovely my little 3 cymbidium-tanks

Beautiful flower. In the wilds these plants get snowed on yet they still thrive and flower.
You need to feed it in its growing months because you environment is not the wild forest where they can get bird droppings and other decayed leaves from the trees.

@Bud yes, this was just and experiment. After this flowering I'm gonna repot with richer soil, mold and fed them as they need.

@Mimia yes, 3 years ago it went down to -15°C inside the city and almost -22/25°C outside (I've got friends living in small village and they sent me the pics of thermometer). This was colder winter in last 12 years.

Here complete flowering. I love them!! And, just for info, I payed them 10€ each plant

Flowers today: even if 1 strong hailstorm and 3 big raining tempest.. they are pretty good
