Default My Balcony

Since I did receive Physan today and spent some 3 hours of cleaning and disinfecting and organizing again, I decided to share my balcony pics again. Since July, there is many mane new orchids, and there is still some 20 on the way, but that is it for this year. My final number will be somewhere around 130'ish. It is amazing even for me, how I can squeeze so many orchids at this little place, but so far it seems working, with a huge help of chains and hooks and other stuff. The left side is low light side, the right side with dracema tree is high light side, I have also sun shades that I do spread when there are sunny days, which this summer really does not happen too often, I have to actually cover them with plastic to protect them from constant rain. Everyone who thinks your balcony is too small, it is not!

Many thanks. I have one last order on the way, actually 2, one for the outside with some 20 awesome pieces and one mini's for the inside hygrolon cylinder, so once these arrive that's it for me for this year:-) And yes, I am shocked as well, how many I could add actually, this June I had maybe some 50, now going over 130:-)

Looks good. There's always room for one more, though, and one more, and one more......

:-)
There is always room, however I did just finished my list and counting and I am good till next year. I did pretty much crossed everything from my wish list (few pieces left), and I am happy with what I have. Now I will have to see if I can manage to take good care of them and make them bloom and thrive. There is always NEXT YEAR:-)

What is left on that list if I may be curious.

I think the worst thing is when you have to move and have a large collection, which I would say your is large. Its hard to replicate the growing conditions and some might not make it, especially the more sensitive ones. When I moved it took me a day to move all my furniture and another week to move my chids and after that about another 2 weeks to do the new set up. Lost a couple of nice chids
