Trees for Mounting Outdoors
Default Trees for Mounting Outdoors???

I'd like to try growing an L. Anceps out doors mounted to a tree. They take temperatures down to 22F and we seldom get to 32F. Would a Schinus Molle Tree work? The spider mites don't like it so it would be easier to keep those pests away. I'd still have to deal with squirrels. Do squirrels actually eat the pbulbs or do they do a taste and stop?

Other options for trees are podocarpus and arbutus marina. The Schinus and Arbutus both have pealing bark and the Podocarpus seems to have smoother bark. All of these trees are evergreen.

Thanks for any suggestions and enabling me further.
