Default bouncing back, new spikes and growths

didn't know where to post this but since i grow my plants outside except when in bloom i thought this is where it should go.

anyways, as you may know i froze most of my plants dead in january. but the ones that did survive were ok and showed signs of surviving, just a little beat beat up. now that ive moved to a more perminant residence, ive been able to tend to my orchids better. now that springs here a whole lot of them have jumped into action and with a little superthrive have come back from the brink. here's a few shots of how theyre doing.

the most exciting one is my den. aggregatum. i went outside today to look at them up close and found a spike off to a good start and one just starting. im very excited to have a species finally bloom for me. slc. jewel box scheherazade is making a fat bud too. and the madevallia i thought id killed is making a new growth

i'd like to add that whomever gave me advice on my aggregatum, THANK YOU!!! it may look shriveled but i havent watered this plant since halloween-easter less a few heavy misting cuz i thought the shriveling was too much, just to play it safe plus ive been blasting it with sun. how long do you guys think the flowers will last on this guy? given my not-so-optimum conditions

heh after losing most my stuff indeed a tiny new root or shoot was happy time indeed..You hung in there and the plants are paying ya back...

Nice job not getting down and giving up. I see too many young people fail these days and just give up. Success is not a given. Success is an ongoing process of failure and recovery. If you arent failing then you arent learning either.

Congrats on bringing you collection back! I'm curious though, how are going to fight the coming summer heat? That's often more deadly than a freeze!

Great to see that your remaining 'chids have weather to storm. I sometimes think that orchids are very forgiving and will survive inspite of some setbacks. Be sure to post once they bloom

that particular area theyre in is always 85-90 degrees. its very bright shade because the sun reflects off the house's white paint and the dirt not even a foot away from the house'd shadow line so its quite bright. plus 4-5 hours of direct morning sunlight. it doesnt get too hot and its always moist from the plants nearby. i summered my plants outside like this last year and they did fantastic. daily watering helps.
