So it's well past the last frost, and I've begun thinking of moving some of my collection out onto my patio for the summer.
I already have an idea of who will like it outside in Denver, but, of course, I want to get y'alls
approval first.
Denver (lakewood) temps/humidity:
Daytime 70-90, nighttime 60s
Humidity gets to the 60%ish at night, 20-30% daytime.
Growing areas available:
1. On a baker's rack with early-late morning sun.
2. Hanging on a north-facing wall with bright indirect light.
3. Under an umbrella with somewhat bright shade.
Thoughts
-Laelia anceps in area 1, morning sun. (it's already used to strong sun from south and west windows.)
-C. intermedia in any area, not sure which- I suspect 2 or 3.
-Epid. ibaguense starting in area 1, then possibly to stronger sun (used to very strong southern/western light)
-I have two Cattleya hybrids which I am not sure about.
--Pot. Samantha Duncan 'Paradise'
--C. Little Dipper x Slc. Sierra Doll (alot of C. walkeriana in there)
Would either of those like being outside?
I know I've asked similar questions to these, I appreciate your opinions on my decisions now.
