Honestly, I don't know. Ummmmm.........I always thought it was too little sun--in light of the fact that I see lots of vanda setups here in SFL on the OB and it seems that they get lots of sun. When I tried to move mine to the sun they burned. Maybe I didn't water them enough, I don't know.
I think Roly has some in full sun in his yard and some underneath a tree, which are the same types of growing conditions I gave them.
My renantheras grow beautifully though. So I don't get it.
