Thanks, in my garden I will have other plants too but will have a section were the most light is hit for the

If you are working outside in the climate dendrobium kingianum, nobile and anosmum are reported to overwinter in southern california- I do not know if that helps your case, but they are all fragrant and can stand temps from 100F down to at least 40F (anosmum). The nobile and kingianum can stand down to 25F and are fragrant and even cattleya walkeriana can hit about 30F overnight, but i would keep them on some kind of bark and just attach them to the tree so they can be removed for night when it gets down to 25F or lower. Just my 2 cents guys.
