In Dallas? Good Luck! I haven't found too many stores that even sell orchids beyond that standard phalaenopsis variety. I've ordered a few different specimens off of andysorchids.com
Hey maybe the FT. Worth Botanical garden might let you borrow a few of theirs from the conservatory.

Can these guys tolerate uper 20s with some protection from winds like a mini-terranium that is put outside.I'm thinking about Neo. falcata and the orchids listed in Outdoor growing orchids and Cold Hardy Cattleyas. Santa Barbara Orchid Estate say yes, but I want to hear your actual experience... , beside, Lc. Drumbeat is a VERY nice plant that is always on the top of my wishlist.

In the summer I have most of my orchids outside under shade with a misting hose above them. I then bring them all inside for the winter and have T12 lights above them on timers set for 12 hours a day. I grow in a sunroom facing east. I don't think we can grow orchids outside year round here in Dallas. Greater North Texas Orchid Society meets the first Sunday of each month at 2:30 at North Haven Gardens in north Dallas. You might find someone there who have this they could sell you.
