We've been running in the high 80's and low to mid 90's here in NE FL for the past several weeks, with very little rain, just a few light sprinkles and one or two thunderstorm downpours. My plants are showing some signs of heat damage. I'm growing some intermediate species from Andy's Orchids on a Stick, a Catasetum hybrid from Sunset Valley Orchids, and warmth tolerant Masdevallia hybrids from Ivan Komoda in Mauii, Hawaii. One of the Masdevallias has had 6 flowerings since January, with flowering lasting up to 3-4 weeks, and it has 2 flowers currently open for about two weeks.
We have hot weather in the low 90's coming over the next week or so, with a good chance of rain next Monday.
