Jackie I was riding an HD from the store where I work in miami, it was very hot and every now and then rode thru some showers that felt great, the everglades were happy I bet. If you're ever in the area on your HD stop by and say hello.

Ok, when I went to my car in the lot at Pembroke Lakes Mall (Hollywood, FL) at about 2pm today the outside temp was 109 (according to my car) and only went down to 98 degrees after I got on the express way. And no rain today. I watered all the orchids once today and hit the vandas again about 6pm. Please, rain!

I just went outside and it's 11:30 PM feels like a sauna. Summer is here I'll be misting 2x a day starting tomorrow. No rain here for weeks. The yard is getting crispy even though we can water 2x a week. Water restrictions are in force. At least I can water my chids without any problems. Anybody have a failsafe rain dance??

Lorraine, I know what you mean. Even my shrubs are looking run down. My bouganvillas leaves are turning yellow and falling off. Are you going to the Redlands show next weekend? Can you imagine how hot it will be walking around that park in the middle of the day in Homestead?! I'm going, but I may not stay too long!

We haven't had a drop for WEEKS!!!
All the lawns look like hay and everything is droopy. Our watering limitations are just once a week!
Thankfully, when my rain barrels emptied, I was able to use my RO water as a backup for the chids...
and it was 85 degrees at 10:30 this morning!
