Thanks all. I was still in the process of moving some plant groups out, so I had not taken any photos to show the 'before'.
We finished the recovery/clean-up today. A few of the Vandas received some moderate sunburn, but it appears that all the plants are OK. A couple lost sections, but all have aerial roots, so they are now unintended divisions.
The rebuild will take some time. Since the shade cloth acts as a 'sail' in case of strong winds, I will have to secure the set-up better. The open 'field' is actually within the footprint of an old hoops style greenhouse, with the base anchors left in place. When I rebuild, I intend to attach each corner to one of those anchors with a strap rated at least 500 lbs (more if I can find it).
