New mounted Leptotes Bicolor
How does my L. Bicolor look so far? I’ve had it 7-10 days. Just wanting to make sure I’m doing right by it so far in terms of light (too much?) and water (right now watering every 2 days). It’s hanging on a west facing deck and gets a couple of hours sun each morning and afternoon.
First photo is day I got it. Second was taken just now. It looks ok to me, but I’m wondering if the new pinkish leaf is looking less plump. Also one of the two baby flower stems (I’m assuming that’s what they are), the one shown on the right in both photos, doesn’t seem to be growing as fast as the other one (the one on the left).
I’m sure this is hard to answer after just a week. But I really want it to do well, and fix any problem before it gets worse.
Thanks very much.

(Not sure why the second photo is displaying sideways — sorry!)

The pinkish leaf may be an old one (that might drop) But I see buds on some of the fat green ones... you'll get flowers in another couple of months or so! Just give it daily watering - as you can see from the way it is mounted, it dries out very fast (which it needs to do) . I have never had success growing it potted, but mounted like that, it grows readily. It never gets particularly intimate with the mount, the roots just do whatever they want to do.
(Note... I mentioned to you about show at Westminster Mall... cancelled. I posted the info under "Shows")
The sideways display of many photos is a "feature" of the old, cranky site software. If you save to hard drive, then do a "save as" even the same name with your photo editor of choice, it usually straightens out. We're all used to it.

Thank you Roberta. I’m so glad to know that it’s doing well enough and that I’ve not messed it up yet. I’m happy to defer to your idea that the pinkish leaf is old, not new — makes total sense, given its position on the plant. I’m watering it every other day, with idea that it’s been pretty cool here, and plan to go to daily watering when it starts to warm up (I.e, soon).
Thanks for telling me about the show cancellation and about the sideways photo issue. Really appreciate your help!
