These are the Orchids in my neighborhood, they're the orchids that you meet each day
My Neighbor and I have been seeding the neighborhood for years....well She for 20+ years, me for 2...
and it makes for a nice view when you walk around our block.

Seems to me that bare hydrant is a missed opportunity for a lithophyte!

Wow, I can barely keep a phalaenopsis alive in a pot and you just grow them on trees without any difficulty .

I love your neighborhood! That tree in your new photos looks absolutely covered in all sorts of orchids, bromeliads and I think a staghorn fern near the base?
All I see growing in the trees here are horrible nastyoak processionary caterpillars which shed zillions of rash and allergy inducing hairs on any unsuspecting passerby.
