New Orchid Show Items on OSA Website - Orchid Board

I have just added two new documents to the OSA website regarding our 2010 show: the artwork competition entry form, and the Sun Moon Orchids Phal species listing. If you would like to take part in this year's artwork competition, fill out the form and drop it off at our meeting this Sunday (complete instructions are included with the form).

Sun Moon has some great Phal species available at excellent prices! I foresee a crowded Sun Moon booth at the show!

I saw their list last week and sent an e- mail. I haven't heard anything back yet. Other vendors got back to me within a day. Should I be worried?
BTW: this year's line up of vendors is one of the best in years!

There has been an email distributed form another society about SunMoon. Does not sound so good, but I don't know that mush yet.

Prompt customer service says much about a vendor.

You are definitely right about that Dave!

I would send them another email. Sometimes emails get missed or don't get through. When Sam Tsui came into town, I had sent him an email, waited a week and didn't get a reply, so I sent another one and it turned out he didn't get the first one. I could've missed out on my plants if I hadn't tried again!

That's what I've done, so now I'll just wait. Maybe they are not all that comfortable writing back and will just show up with the plants. That would certainly make my day.

I have just added the show schedule for this year's show to the website, which features class information needed to enter plants, artwork, or photos, as well as the rules and regulations of the show.

The plant registration form is also now available. Entrants are encouraged to email their submissions in early for a guaranteed spot. If you're not sure whether your plants will be in bloom in time, register them anyway, as it is much easier to make a last-minute deletion than a last-minute registration.
