Eltroplectris calcarata
The critically endangered Spurred Neottia/Longclaw Orchid ( Eltroplectris calcarata) -- closeup, taken in the wilds of south Florida where it resides in rockland hammocks. The flowers are roughly two inches from sepal-tip to sepal-tip when spread out, making it one of the larger individual orchid flowers in our state.
