orchid flowering seasons from around the globe?

Most of orchids native to SA bloom in the spring around September-January . Other orchids that are not native here bloom from winter-fall sometimes early spring. That's about May to August. But they can bloom year through

so, seams they mainly flower in spring whatever hemisphere. Equatorial... i guess before wet.... Places where there are lots, some flower throughout the year...?
