Thanks Sonya looks like there're no further suggestions from people. I was hoping for docos about people travelling into the wilderness in different parts of the world to find native orchids in-situ. Botanyboy1 on youtube does fantastic home videos of the wild Japanese orchids. Would love to see more of those types. But there're none by the looks of it. Pity.
Stig Dalstrom, the "Wild Orchid Man", has several videos out that involve orchid hunting. They're not totally focused on orchids, but they're pretty good. Especially for the armchair explorer. He's associated with the Marie Selby Gardens in Sarasota so he knows what he's talking about.
