Not sure, the Bees still live in Europe. Seems like Bee Orchids just hit on a very good strategy for spreading. They have starting appearing in scotland and are generally moving further North due to climate change.
With all that inbreeding i suppose eventually theyll start to speciate and maybe find new pollinating insects.
Other Ophrys species in the UK are still dependent on their pollinators and are generally declining...
