Christmas Eve in the Fakahatchee!

all, My hiking buddy Mike and I had the pleasure of hiking the Strand this morning. The first 3 pictures are of Dingy Star Orchids, 4th one is leafless ribbon orchid, 5th and 6th are of clamshell orchids, the 7th and 8th are of a new find for me I have not had a chance to look it up to see what it is. It was growing on a stump about 6 inches above the ground. The 9th is of a snail that is looking for a house, and the last is of the golf ball spider they rap the tops of the fern around them self to make a ball why they do this I am not sure. I hope you enjoy them half has much as I had finding them.

Makes me want to do a Christmas in Michigan response! It would be all snow with a small bit of green where I spilled the green beans on the snow!
