We go up to Edmonton every year to see our kids but go to see the orchids, too, and have become quite familiar with the beauty of the native orchids and of the Canadian Rockies.

What a beauty! Makes you wonder about the exchange of flora between North America and Europe that occured so long ago. The vast ranges of the ancestral species that must have been present.
And don't get me started on Asia and North America!

Thanks for presenting the fma. lineata. The colored margins and dark stripes are very showy.

Thanks, Tindo and Euplusia. Interesting links between the flora of N. America and Eurasia.
