Pink striped white petals remind me of paph. Delrosi, which I've been wanting to have for quite some time now.

Thanks, Tindo. We have two locations where we go to see these, but one of them is five hours away.

Anyone in Michigan who would like to see these? I've found them in the center of Mackinaw Island and near Tahquamenon Falls. You can also find Corallorhiza trifida near Tahquamenon Falls (I don't remember if it was the Upper or Lower Falls) around the end of May, early June if you look very carefully (they're yellowish-green, small and hard to spot).

No question about it that they can be found there. What would be even neater is if you found var. vreelandii in Michigan!

Thanks, as always, Sonya. Hope pictures like these give you some idea of why we love hiking and orchid hunting.
