They have an almond-like fragrance, Bud, but not very strong.

It's one of our favorite things to do - hiking, backpacking, and photography, especially of wild orchids.

Very nice! With everything here covered in snow, it is nice to be reminded that spring will come soon.
I grew up with a woods nearby that was pretty much undisturbed. Loved finding all the flowers...only ever picked violets, though.

The area where this was photographed is under the snow also and pretty much inaccesible. We don't have any snow here but are eager for spring after a long grey and wet winter.
