They have an almond-like fragrance, Bud, but not very strong.

It's one of our favorite things to do - hiking, backpacking, and photography, especially of wild orchids.

Very nice! With everything here covered in snow, it is nice to be reminded that spring will come soon.
I grew up with a woods nearby that was pretty much undisturbed. Loved finding all the flowers...only ever picked violets, though. ![Smile](http://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/new/smile.gif)

The area where this was photographed is under the snow also and pretty much inaccesible. We don't have any snow here but are eager for spring after a long grey and wet winter.
