I shot this photo of a Catasetum Integerrimum on the Rio Dulce some time ago, but the orchid is yellow & green against the same color background so it didnt stand out very well.

Recently Ive been working on my photo editing skills. In the process, I edited this photo to convert the background to B&W. This makes the orchid pop out quite dramatically. The photo is otherwise untouched.

I'm pretty sure the NOID is a Polystachya, if I had to guess I would say P. concreta

Just returned from my place on the Rio. Its rainy season and not a lot was in bloom, but there were a few nice onces.

E nocturnum is a common native orchid there, loads of them.

Various other Epi's are common too, but Ive not ID'ed them all. Pics of two small orchids which I suspect are Epi's attached.

A brassovola.

And what I think is a Cattleya hybrid.

Tentative IDs in order: Epi. nocturnum, Epi. sp (probably nocturnum), Brassavola sp., Polystachya concreta, Cattleya alliance hybrid, P. concreta for the last 2.

Great photos and plants by the way! I wish I had Orchids blooming year round like this where I live!
