Lots of new blooms today and lots of plants in spike...so more to come. A few shots from today attached. A mix of hybrids and indigenous.

Yes, it is certainly a nice perk of my location. I am traveling right now and will return home in a few days. There were lots of orchids in-spike when I left, including one indigenous variety I had never noticed before, so there should be loads of new blooms when I return! |

Gorgeous! My hobby is planting orchids and I have several kinds of orchids in my orchid house outside of the garden. Here I’m happy to see you blossom of your orchids and hope to post pictures of m orchids when it blooms.

An update from a recent stroll. One indigenous NOID included -- any ID suggestions appreciated. One nice non-orchid picture (although if you look closely there are orchids in there...).

More cool stuff today...a nice spray of new blooms on a B. Nodosa and an E. Nocturnum in the same tree.
Lots of non-orchid plants blooming too, a couple of interesting pics of these included.

Some recent updates.
It is the trailing edge of the rainy season here and the orchids are quite happy, and blooming profusely, because the temperatures have dropped into the 70's F, but we are still getting about 1/2" of rain per day in the form of very light rain which lasts for hours, and humidity is 85%.
The pics attached are a mix of indigenous orchids and imported hybrids, but they are all "in the wild".
Taking a close-up of the Trigodendrum (indigenous) was funny because the camera went into facial recognition mode...look closely at the features of the flower and you will understand why (Pic 6 of 7).

Coffee Stroll
Gorgeous flowers!
Why is it when I go on a coffee stroll all I see are dust bunnies and cat hair? Am I drinking the wrong type of coffee? Where can I get that German stuff? 
How phenomenal it must be to just stroll out and find such - you know that you have a lot of N. American cousins that are very envious!
