Default Native Orchids on the Thunder Creek Trail

One of our favorite hikes in the North Cascades, this trail always has an abundance of orchids. The flower below is the Western Trillium, but there are plenty of orchid pictures at the link.

That's why we do so much hiking, Tindo. It's not only for the orchids, but for all the beauty that's out there.

That flower is unique in its form and color...I have never seen such a symmetrical shape almost to perfection
