Wow, spectacular scenery, great wildflowers and insects, but like you the Lady Slipper is the star for me. I love them and seeing them photographed in the wild is just wonderful.
Yeah, if I ever leave the UK it's got to be one of the places to visit I'm not much of a traveller though, keep telling myself I'll make it out that way one day!
Thanks for looking and commenting. Too far north for Darlingtonia and not the right conditions. They need serpentine areas and wetter areas as well. They do not reach much farther north than southern Oregon.
